Not Mother's Day

I was informed by a local today that it is actually not mother's day. Mother's day takes place some time in April in the UK- which means I missed mother's day entirely this year. BUT! Lucky me! My sweet daughter made me an awesome puppet show anyways!

We started out the day by visiting Stirling Castle:
But, actually, we first visited the William Wallace (Braveheart) monument, because we thought it was the Stirling Castle.
Then we made our way into Edinburgh, and to The Jazz Bar, for Dr. Sketchy's! Coincidentally, it appeared to be an "American" themed Dr. Sketchy's- a tribute to Frank Sinatra, including an American flag, the national anthem, and other models with "American-like" accents. Going along with the American theme, the grand prize was given away to one of the only two Americans attending! I can't tell you what the prize is though, because I have to surprise the Americans back at home with it. I can show you this picture though- it is of the model holding Jodi and my drawings. I don't know why we both decided to draw feet. Jodi's on the right and mine on the left- but left and right are opposite over here of what they are over there.

Tomorrow the two of us jump on a train to London. That means the most adventurous adventures will begin. However, this will be the last post with pictures from our real cameras (but that's alright with me because the upload takes a bloody long time!) Everything from here on out will be iphone generated material. I have to go pack now. Happy mother's day to those of you on the other side of the world!
